Data requests

How to see, correct or delete what we hold about your email address.

Adopted 17 Jun 2025 · revised 28 Jul 2026 · 2 revisions

1 What you can request

Access
A copy of every signup row we hold for your address: the lists, the dates, the pages the signups happened on, and the consent details.
Correction
A fix to anything in those rows that is wrong.
Deletion
Removal of everything we hold for your address. See clause 3 for exactly what that does.

2 How to send a request

Email us from the address the request concerns, or use one of these pre-addressed links: request access, request a correction, request deletion. State which request you are making; nothing else is required.

If you cannot send from the address the request concerns, say so, and we will confirm the request by writing to that address before acting. We verify this way because an email address is the only identifier we hold; we will not delete an address on the unverified word of a stranger, and we will never ask for identity documents for a newsletter subscription.

Requests can also be posted to Publishing Resources, 98 US Hwy 46, Ste 7 #1057, Budd Lake, NJ 07828.

3 What a deletion does

A deletion removes the signup rows for your address from our own capture log, and removes your contact from the mailing platform that delivers our email. Both, always. Deleting one without the other would leave a copy behind.

One narrow exception: if you ask us to delete an address that has unsubscribed, the mailing platform may keep that address on its suppression list, because forgetting it is what would allow mail to reach you again. Suppression entries exist only to prevent sending and are used for nothing else.

Deletion is permanent. If you subscribe again later, that is a new signup and a new consent record.

4 Timing

We acknowledge a request within five working days and resolve it within 45 days. If verification fails, we say so and why, rather than letting the request lapse in silence.

5 What we hold in the first place

The full inventory is short and is listed in Privacy Policy clause 2. Preferences stored on your own device, such as saved articles and a pinned ZIP code, never reach us; clearing your browser's site data removes them, and no request to us is needed.
