Terms of Use

The terms that govern reading and using this site.

Adopted 4 Feb 2025 · revised 9 Mar 2026 · 2 revisions

1 Agreement

These terms govern your use of threadlinenews.com, operated by Publishing Resources. By using the site you accept them. If we change them, the revision date at the top of this page changes, and a material change is noted on this page for 30 days.

2 Using the site

The site is for reading. You may not interfere with its operation, probe or overload its infrastructure, misrepresent yourself to its forms, or use another reader's email address to subscribe them to anything.

Automated access that respects robots directives and does not degrade the service is permitted for indexing. Bulk copying of articles, by any means, is governed by clause 3 and by Republishing.

3 Our content

Articles, storylines, summaries, annotations and everything else written by Threadline News are copyright Publishing Resources, all rights reserved, except as stated in Republishing. Quotation with attribution and a link is welcome within the limits stated there. Republication of full articles requires written permission.

Government and court records reproduced on our document pages are in the public domain and these terms claim no rights over them. Our annotations on those records are our own work and remain covered by this clause.

4 Newsletters

Newsletter subscriptions are governed by the Privacy Policy. Every email carries a working one-click unsubscribe. We may close a list at any time; we will not move you to a different list without asking.

5 What our content is not

What we publish is journalism, not professional advice. Health coverage is not medical advice and is no substitute for a clinician who knows your history. Business coverage is not investment advice. Legal coverage is not legal advice. Where a story concerns a decision you are facing, consult someone qualified to advise you personally.

6 Accuracy and corrections

We work to our published Standards and we correct errors publicly at Corrections. The site is provided as is; we do not warrant that it is uninterrupted or error-free. Where an error is found, our obligation is the corrections process, applied promptly and in the open.

7 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Publishing Resources is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8 Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey, and disputes belong to the courts of New Jersey. Questions go to the same address. Postal address: Publishing Resources, 98 US Hwy 46, Ste 7 #1057, Budd Lake, NJ 07828.
