Prosecutors charge two in shooting of 49ers' Keion White
Gregory Walker is held without bail; two more men await transfer to San Francisco.

Four men have been arrested in the Feb. 9 shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White at a Mission District nightclub, and two were charged on Oct. 14, one of them held without bail.
San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew announced the arrests on Oct. 14. They were made between Oct. 7 and Oct. 9 with help from law enforcement agencies in Atlanta, Stockton, Irvine and Los Angeles. Investigators identified the men using video footage and witness accounts, and Lew said multiple armed suspects confronted White.
What happened at Dahlia
White was hosting a private party in the downstairs VIP area of Dahlia, a crowded nightclub in the 1700 block of Mission Street, when he was shot in the ankle just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 9, following Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, the 49ers' home field. He was treated at San Francisco General Hospital, and the team said at the time that the surgery was successful.

As filed
Gregory Walker, 36, of Mountain House, was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on Oct. 9 and booked into San Francisco County Jail on Oct. 12. The district attorney's office charged him with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, with allegations that he personally discharged a firearm and personally inflicted great bodily injury, along with three counts of firearm possession by a felon.
Curtis Green, 35, was arrested without incident at his Irvine home on Oct. 7 and booked into the same jail. He faces three misdemeanor counts: brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
Mr. Walker, and a second man who is pending charges, are alleged to have fired their guns, resulting in the injury to Mr. White. Mr. Green was also armed and is alleged to have brandished his own firearm
Green and Walker made their first appearance on Oct. 14 at San Francisco's Hall of Justice, KQED reported. The court ordered Green released because his charges are misdemeanors and ordered Walker, who faces felony counts, held without bail. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said prosecutors sought no bail because of the public safety risk they say he poses.
The investigation and the seizures
Lew said the months-long investigation, which the department called Operation D-Line, expanded quickly as agencies outside San Francisco joined it. Police said they obtained no-bail arrest warrants for all four men.
It involved over 50 search warrants and assistance from over 250 law enforcement personnel
Officials laid out photographs of guns, packaged drugs and cash at police headquarters on Oct. 14. Three firearms, nearly $7,000 and about 15 pounds of drugs were seized over the course of the investigation, they said, including MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone pills and fentanyl.
Marquis Davis, 38, was arrested at his Atlanta home on the morning of Oct. 7 by Atlanta police. Officers reported finding an illegal firearm there along with 820 grams of MDMA, 1,026 grams of methamphetamine, 979 grams of cocaine and 3,842 grams of fentanyl.
San Joaquin County sheriff's deputies and San Francisco police took Antoine Washington, 36, into custody in Stockton that morning, recovering a loaded firearm, more than 120 oxycodone pills and $6,691 in cash.

The police department's public release on the arrests did not name the player, describing the victim only as someone officers found with a gunshot wound to the ankle. Jenkins identified White as the victim at the news conference, ABC News reported.
Two men awaiting transfer
Jenkins said she would announce charges only for Green and Walker, because they were the only two booked into San Francisco County Jail. Davis and Washington will be charged once they are brought to San Francisco, and her office is working with authorities in San Joaquin County and Atlanta to arrange the transfers.
Neither the district attorney's office nor the police department said when the two men would be transferred, or how long that might take.
In Georgia, Davis was charged with multiple counts of trafficking in controlled substances, multiple gang-related offenses and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to a release from the Atlanta Police Department. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
Jail records in San Joaquin County show that Washington remains in custody there on a dozen felony charges, according to Stocktonia, and he has not been charged in San Francisco.
White's season since the shooting
White, 27, has played in all five of the 49ers' games this season, starting four, and has three sacks, nine tackles and one fumble recovery for the unbeaten team. New England drafted him in the second round in 2023 and traded him to San Francisco in October 2025. He has 109 tackles, 10.5 sacks and 31 quarterback hits in 52 career games, 24 of them starts.
What the two sides say
Police listed Walker as a Mountain House resident; his attorney says he lives in San Francisco.
Walker has retained a private attorney, Jeff Wozniak, who said he plans to get his client released and intends to show that Walker is innocent, KQED reported.
Mr. Walker is a family man, a longshoreman, a union member.
An attorney for Davis said in a statement to ABC News that Davis is presumed innocent of all charges and that the allegations against him remain unproven. The statement said Davis would be defended vigorously in court and that the defense would not comment on the evidence or the charges while the matter is pending.
Jenkins said the city would not tolerate violence of any kind, and gun violence above all. She told the news conference she was thankful to the San Francisco police for making it possible to hold accountable those who chose violence on the night that ended Super Bowl weekend.
What comes next in court
Both men postponed entering a plea and are due back at the Hall of Justice on Oct. 19 for arraignment, with the court ordering them in the meantime not to possess weapons of any kind.
The district attorney's release named only Walker among the two men it said fired guns, describing the other as a man who is pending charges. Jenkins did not identify him at the news conference, and her office has not said what charges Davis and Washington will face. Police said their investigation is continuing.
